Paul mentioned this during the broadcast today. Did you hear him talking about it? He was discussing the Casartelli crash and said that he was the PR director for the team at the time. It is amazing that I have never heard of most of the guys who were on the team. Some stuck around, of course, like Axel Merckx but most of those names are new to me.

No, I didn't hear Paul mention that, luvvy. A buddy of mine sent me the link while we were IM'ing about the stage today.

I had either read or heard an announcer say early this AM that Lance was the only rider in this year's Tour who was riding the '95 Tour when Casartelli died, but buddy thought that Hincapie might have been there. George was on Moto then, but apparently was not tapped for the Tour. His own site confirms that his first Tour was '96.
