Close to where I live there was a huge American Flag and now it is gone but the pole is still standing. There was nothing wrong with it and it was in really good shape etc so there was no reason to take it down.
Has anyone else noticed anything like this around where you are?
If they bought it at Dollar Tree it might have had 61 stars
The ‘garrison flag’ still flies high and proud on South Cushman in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Mine is up, as always. Only house in the neighborhood that seems to fly one. Never got that. Our house always had one growing up, my mom still has one on her house.
Our flag flies 24/7. It never gets dark in the summer, and in the winter we have a security light right beside the flag. The flag is never in darkness.
Can you believe that even with all those extra stars, it still only costs a buck?!!
lol
I’m going to Michael’s tonight to stock up on 4th of July decorations. You’ll be able to see my porch from space, lol!

Anyone know how to attach a flagpole holder to vinyl siding? Our new house is vinyl and we’re afraid to put nails in it and we’d like to get the flag flying before 7/4. We’re thinking that a free-standing flagpole may be in our future.
I rigged a small spotlight for mine.

Too funny.
I saw a business down the road from where I live. They put up a sign recently, “YOU CAN TAKE OUR FLAG BUT YOU CANNOT TAKE OUR PATRIOTISM”.
So apparently, they too had their flag stolen (I see an empty pole).
61 stars now..

This one is on a main road with heavy traffic and I thought the same thing. At night the traffic is light and about half the land is developed.
Yes that is what it made it so weird. There are cops all over the area so how could it happen??
