Another article on this (a real news source that actually looked into the incident, not the AP) stated that the guards had been circulated a memorandum exempting underwire bras. The guard either did not get the memo, did not read the memo, did not understand the memo, or simply ignored the memo, but it was the guard that did not follow the rules, not the attorney.
