Why did they find blood on some of the clothes joran was carrying? What’s underneath the girls finger nails? Why did Joran change clothes and take a $500 cab ride.

Joran does not last a week in the general prison population. So I don’t care if he gets a shorter than max sentence.

So this is your thesis:

(1) The Peruvian government, for reasons unknown, had decided to go after Joran van der Sloot.

(2) They figured the best way to go about it was to patiently wait until van der Sloot decided to get around to visting Peru (or perhaps they lured him somehow?)

(3) They decided to use the daughter of a national hero as bait, in order to kill her to frame van der Sloot.

(4) During all this, dozens - perhaps hundreds - of Peruvian and Chilean citizens conspired secretly to pull all of this off without a hitch. Because there are that many people in Peru and Chile who would rather die than betray their life's goal: to frame some jet-setting clown of a Dutch twenty-something.

(5) The Peruvian government was so sure of total secrecy that it decided to spend all this time and effort on something (i.e. the deliberate assassination of the daughter of a popular Peruvian celebrity) which, if it backfired, would topple the government.

(6) If it was not the Peruvian government, then it acted as an unwitting pawn in an even more elaborate international scheme.

Even for an anonymous Internet poster this is incredibly weak.

And there's nothing fake about that video - the world is not uniformly lit like a Hollywood soundstage.

How do you figure they were different women? I cannot see any difference between the two. One of her walking behind him getting the hotel room key, another of her entering the room.

And how do you explain the renting of hotel room for several days and not coming back, she wasn’t discovered for two whole days?

Maybe you can explain the frame up part?
