Thank you for remembering Celticlass thru her graphic.
((HUGS))
It was just a speck, a tiny foreign object flying through the air on a windy day while I was cutting the grass. Somehow that speck made its way into my left eye.
For the next few hours that little speck caused quite a bit of irritation. I tried washing it out. My wife, Sue, a nurse, tried everything she could think of. Finally, we went to a Med Center, where the medical personnel on duty couldnt get it out either. Only after applying some ointment and waiting several more annoying hours did I get relief from the speck.
This tiny, nagging irritant made me think anew about Jesus teaching in Matthew 7 about criticizing others. My first thought was to be impressed with the practicality of Jesus illustration. Using the effective literary tool of hyperbole, or exaggeration, He explained for His listeners how foolish it is for a person to criticize someone without seeing that he or she is also guilty of error. If you can find someone elses little speck while ignoring the hunk of wood in your own eye, somethings wrong. It should be unthinkable to ignore our own faults while pointing out someone elses.
An attitude of self-righteousness has no place in the Christian life. That should be plain to see.

Al ‘The Twit’ Gore would make a great mascot for a team of enviro terrorists and Barbershop Quartet
By the way, a new breakfast each day for a while from name restaurants to help me find out everyone’s favorite breakfasts.

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts.”Hebrews 8:10
Proverbs 16:23
KJV
“The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.”
Matthew 15:18
“But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.”
1. Prov. 4:23 - Guard your heart diligently!
2. Phil. 4:8-9 - Think on good things & do what is right!
for it is out of the heart a man acts
Many scriptures regarding the heart. The one that admonishes man especially ... ...
Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Father God help us in our day to bless and curse not, in all things, to walk before You humbly and praise You in our heart and deeds, in Jesus name, amen;
Do you all know that Gore has always said the movie, 'Love Story' was based on he and Tipper? LOL, big time!
“Do you all know that Gore has always said the movie, ‘Love Story’ was based on he and Tipper?”
Now we know why there was no sequel!

The Parable of the Talents
14”Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them.
15.To one he gave five talents[a] of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.
16.The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more.
17.So also, the one with the two talents gained two more.
18.But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
19.”After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.
20.The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’
21.”His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!’
22.”The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’
23”His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!’
24”Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
25.So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’
26”His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
28” ‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.
29.For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
30.And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Each of us in is this parable ... which one are we?
Are we where we desire to be?
O Lord we love You, thank You for this day, help us to find our way and help us in our day to walk in the light You have given us, God bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, the persecuted believers of the world, the lost, the enslaved, the hurting, and those that seek You, in Jesus name, amen.
Took me a long time to choose, Johnn! I’ve decided on the Eggs Benedict, Two poached eggs, smoked ham on an English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce; served with Stacks potatoes & fresh fruit!!
If you have cinnamon buns with gooey topping, I would like one of those with coffee! And I thank you very much!
JC, I’ll send you a picture of something off Johnn’s menu, and you’ll put that 10 lbs back on in a heart-beat! (Just give me a moment to decide what menu item will do it best - and quickest!) LOL!
Appreciate the sweet lesson today, Rus! Have a wonderful day!
Had to have the air condition people out last night! He left at 9:00! When it goes out, I am burning up in 30 minutes! It was the water in the pan underneath that got stopped up! He carried almost 10 gallons of water down those attic steps. I don't know how many trips he made! Then he blew the little pipes out.
One good thing good with the newer air-conditioners, when the pan gets so full your unit shuts down. I have a digital thermometer and it was blank. I had never seen it blank when other things happened to it....so far, everything they have done to it has been under warranty...but his wasn't, of course!
(((but his wasn’t, of course!))) Should be ‘this, not his’..
