So, I'm coming home from work -- I bike home from work --and I stumble across an accident. It is the single weirdest thing I have ever seen. A car managed to climb up the guide wires of a telephone pole.
It was next to a TitleMax, so I assumed at first glance that it was some sort of promotional advertisement. I rode my bike right behind it, without realizing the danger of the situation. When the cop saw me, he waved me off.
Now, what I'm thinking is: WTF, and apparantly the cop is too. HOW do you MANAGE this one???? HOW do you explain THIS to GEICO????

It can't be all that uncommon, because when I was a kid one of the moms in our carpool did the same thing at Northside Dr. and West Paces Ferry Rd.
We all climbed out over the tailgate of the station wagon.
They brought two wreckers, steadied the front with the first one and cranked the back bumper up off the ground and gradually slid it back down the guy wires. We watched the whole thing from the stone wall across Northside, waiting for other parents to come collect us.
I still see the mom from time to time. She's a very nice lady, but very distractible. Still is.

Fess up. We all know it was you driving. Had a bit too much tipsy at the steak place across the road, had your foot on the gas while ogling a hot chick bending over looking in the mailbox, and ooops!

This is weird.
I was on an identical incident about 30 years ago and the driver was a young girl that was also not injured.
This is the first time I’ve seen or heard of it happening again.

The son of someone I know wound up in this predicament here a few years ago. He was driving way too fast and way too drunk and bumped another car, ricocheted off and up a guy wire.It is better than knocking the pole down.

At least the car didn't land in the power wires and get suspended up there like this pilot did!
