It’s been a busy, busy week up here in upstate New York.

I turned over the garden soil for the veggie beds and snuck in an early planting of some of my favorites. Still waiting on the seed potatoes, but other than that I have got my tomatoes, basil in. The garlic I put in last October is thriving with the occassional nitrogen supplements.

Problems this year: blisters through gloves, sun on bald head (note to self: bandana next time!)

So many weeds in some spots! Actually had to rip up the top three inches of weed infested soil.

Taking a much needed day off today. :)
