Sprint, Verizon, or AT & T.. Which of these 3 cell phones are good?? (Vanity)

Here is the story..

I'm looking to get a decent cell phone provider that is good, have excellent phones, and be used in overseas. Right now I have a pay go phone (I used to have trash mobile but long story) and I can't use it globally..

I did ask companies like Boost and Cricket and they can't be used overseas. Out of the 3 which of would you recommend??

I've been a WinMo guy for the last 6 years, and always had "smart phones" and Window CE PDAs (back to an old Casio 1510) before that. The HTC Touch Pro 2 is what I consider the ultimate phone: it does everything I could possibly want in a PDA or phone, does it VERY well, and is extremely feature-packed.

I've even used GPS Sport Tracker (freeware) to beat a ticket, as it records your speed, altitude, and position via GPS. I proved that I was well below the claimed speed, and actually below the speed limit, as my GPS records were updated every second!

It's also cool to turn on (with all other radios off - just the GPS receiver on) when flying, and check your speed and altitude; it's pretty accurate, if the information shown on the flight status screen on the airplane is correct!

Truly the ultimate phone; about the only thing I could think to add would be a second micro SD slot, as the format currently only supports 32 GB per card; having two slots would allow me to carry a full 64 GB of information, one I could pack with entertainment and the other with business and important (and encrypted) information.

It was great at CES to have all my business contacts at Apple come and find me to use my phone for phone calls, web access, etc. while their iPhones couldn't connect to the network. And when they saw how much faster it was to enter information with a REAL keyboard, how a higher resolution screen looks, and what SPB Mobile Shell's UI looks like (and how it is totally customizable) there were several that walked away wanting it... Alas, politics in the workplace would not allow that!

AT&T and iPhone. Period.

Overseas, be warned to tun off the auto check/download email feature.
Those charges are one of the only common complaints.

The only thing I would add is a camera flash.

Overseas AT&T Hands Down. My kid was able to use AT&T in the UAE and columbia. None of the people in the group with VZ could use their phones in either place. Here in the usa VZ and AT&T are a toss up.

Anyone: We have verizon, three phones and have had it for years. No problems except that the phone bill is so damn high. Like 180 per month, and it just seems to high...we carry 1400 hours a month because at 700 we were going over sometimes.

Verizon works well when you go overseas but ya need to call the company tell him the areas you are going to and they will automatically send something thru to your phone for the duration. We had no problems in Mexico, Panama and South America.

But we need a CHEAPER monthly bill. IF anyone knows how we can do this, please let us know. We keep a mom on the third phone line.

..Sprint and Verizon are getting better hardware, in my opinion.

I got the Incredible last week and it is outstanding. But I'm back to my Blackberry after my wife discovered it.

Cricket should not be on anyone’s list for anything unless you are an illegal. All their billboards in Houston are now in Spanish!

I have Verizon Wireless, and they do have global phones in their collection, although the one I own is plain since I rarely use it. They also lease global phones for a reasonable price. I’ve leased phones through them the last couple of times I’ve been overseas. If you’re only going overseas on vacation, and not going over there on a regular basis, then I’d recommend leasing one.
