I am planning to go the beach there [Hawaii], or in Guam if we stop for a couple days again. You can’t go to beach in any of these countries ... the locals pump sewage into the water. Plus, the beaches have more pickpockets than anywhere else.
Underway again, although we’re supposed to go back to Singapore. We were actually supposed to have been in Malaysia for the weekend, but apparently the Navy decided that we didn’t have enough money. Boring, mostly. We’re supposed to do drills tomorrow [Thursday] all day. I’m not really looking forward to it. It’s too hot to wear firefighting gear and run around the ship unless we really have to.
