My herbs fight it out. A couple of years ago I had a lot of dill, but then there wasn’t any last year, and only a few sprigs this year. Oregano is very healthy this year, but rosemary is cautious. Thyme has colonized a planter and the corn patch.

Interesting...

For now I’ll keep the dill and cilantro out of the raised beds, but will plant them in different parts of the natural garden.
I have the mint in pots near both doors to deter the ants, but don’t dare plant them in the ground.
