I just switched from pro life to pro choice because I am a liberal who likes watching babies die and from pro gun to anti gun because I don't give a crap about my property or the safety of my family. I've always supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Because I profit off helping them steal identities..

I had my root planing done with just a lecture playing on the iPod to space me out. And I gave birth once just reading Thomas Sowell for distraction ;-).

Drugs work on me, too, usually.

I tend to have trouble with them working.

If Algore intrudes in my bailiwick, he's going to effectively end our inconvenient truce.

I will magnanimously grant him autonomy to act as he wishes on Pluto and Charon.

Good idea!

Do you think he'd agree to go if we voted him President of Pluto?

He's got enough money to be the Plutocrat of Pluto.

But I'd be willing to kick in for a free ticket.

One way. Can't afford the return trip.

If he thinks he could be king, he’d pay to build the ship himself.

Save your money. ;-)

Hint: send him soon enough and he goes without the technology and fuel for the return trip. We’ll have to restrain NnBob until he’s underway...

I can only be restrained if I am willing to be restrained.

It’s much easier to distract me.

Evening, all. It rained again here. My Japanese eggplants have died. I dug out two of them this afternoon during a brief sunny period and put in some melons that were growing wild by the grill.

So sad. Did you build a funeral pyre?

They say rain is coming here soon.

But then again, this is Seattle where sunshine is all the proof you need that rain is on its way.

No, it’s too wet. I just tossed them in the lawn with the stinging nettles and crabgrass. The mower will chop them up.

No nettle soup????

We don't have any, though they grew well at a previous house 20 miles from here.

We were observing that we could eat the nettles, if we were hungry enough, but I think kudzu is more nutritious.

I know nettle soup is a traditional British thing, what with their being kudzu-deprived.

Well then, you just need to grow more kudzu! *\;-)

There are several sites in the area where I pick kudzu in late summer when it’s at its fullest.

I looked up nettle soup recipes. You can eat anything, if you cook it to death and then run it through the blender. However, I’m sure it has important vitamins and minerals that could keep people “on the verge” from starving to death.
