I just switched from Republican to Democrat (Viking Kitties secretly switched his meds)

I just switched from pro life to pro choice because I am a liberal who likes watching babies die and from pro gun to anti gun because I don't give a crap about my property or the safety of my family. I've always supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Because I profit off helping them steal identities..

It’s 81 here, and “only” supposed to be 101 for a high. Be still my heart!

I almost lived at the local pool when I was Elen’s and Sally’s ages. They could do worse things for exercise.

Grils are back. Elen was stung by a wasp.

Clouds coming up to the north, maybe it will rain ...

Long days of meetings over. Off to group dinner shortly. And it’s sprinkling.

Back from the pool. It was very warm!

My seminarian in Ethiopia is being ordained a priest tomorrow. I got an email from him.

"My seminarian in Ethiopia is being ordained a priest tomorrow. I got an email from him."

Seminarian?

Someone fifty years old?
Seminarian -- fifty
Sexagenarian -- sixty
Septuagenarian -- seventy
Octogenarian -- eighty
Nonagenarian -- ninety

It seems to fit.

It seems to work, actually ... but I think he’s about 26. He was still in his teens when he entered the seminary, and it’s been more than 8 years.

Seaman Petunia has reported from Singapore, but she says she’s still on the boat and hasn’t done anything interesting yet. She might go to the opera.

Best to avoid him if he comes around. He's overdue for Pon-Farr. (Great Thorn Birds of the Galaxy reference.)

Minbari attended the temple for formation until their Eleventies.

If he ever comes to NC, we’ll get the Eritreans up the street to make Ethiopian food. He said he might go to Rome next for more education, because he has outstanding grades. We’ll have to see: they really need more priests in Ethiopia.

Y’all have lost me with the opaque references; that’s why I’m being all literal.

I don’t think Ethiopians can afford filing cabinets. I sent him some money to buy shoes.

While my dad was in the Navy he shared an office with a Catholic priest for one of his billets. They had a RP (Religious program specialists)that worked with them. One day he changed the sign on there filing cabinet with those labels. It was a play on the secret and top secret that were on some of the other officer’s cabinets.

When did she become Petunia and why is she so far from are coast?

Back from dinner. Good time, and I don't have to be one of the early risers with 7 AM meetings. *\:^)

Good night all.

I ‘borrowed’ someone’s unattended computer to change all the settings on their Facebook account. I’ll give the computer back. Once Kvintus’s friends have figured out what a ‘Whig’ is, he may never have the same reputation again. Heh.
At the ‘Terror Club’ (named after HMS TERROR) on base. Originally we came for dinner, but got sidetracked playing pool..and then hanging around listening to the chiefs tell stories about me. Apparently they like people who climb up on the end of the focsle, with no apparent regard for self-preservation, in order to handle lines. Well, whatever works. If nothing else, I’ll have plenty of prospective representatives in case something odd happens and I get masted. Unlikely, at least now.
Then we played pool and discussed the idea of going to law school in Rome. This is a good idea. I can probably afford it, too.

A Minbari is coming to NC? Let me know what date, so I can visit. I’ve always wanted to meet one. Will it be the kind with hair, or not?

Good morning. I was just out watering. The byos went swimming last night. They can float now, more or less.

No, not a Minbari; I was referring to an Ethiopian.

Seaman Anoreth ping to 1,474. The Seaman reports from civilized Singapore, where our Coast Guard is guarding ... ummmm ... the EM Club, I guess.

LOL.

Foiled. Went to the meeting room early to get a preferred seat at the table, but there was a committee already meeting there. At 7 AM! Ugh. But at least here in the atrium (or "ATRUIM" as the signs call it) there's WiFi available.
