Sure I’m kidding abut the insect/bird thing, but perhaps some day it will be figured out and who knows?
Now mice and humans are both mammals, but I’ve seen pictures of human ears growing on mice for research purposes, perhaps grafted, I don’t know, but it really grossed me out.
Somehow I’m not bothered by wolves and coyotes inter breeding. I’m not sure why, maybe because they are so similiar in appearance, and I’ve heard that escaped or abandoned sled dogs have bred with wolves.
So what’s the story with foxes? Seperate from wolves and coyotes?
Didn’t see the movie.
Was it any good?
Ligers can stand 12 feet tall
The “human ear” growing on a mouse is just cartilidge from a human patient growing within the living matrix of a mouse. Holds the promise of growing a new cosmetic ear for people who lost them in Vincent Van Gough type accidents. ;)
Well a Lioness has many cubs, and may not have mated with just one male. The male Lion includes epigenetic signals in the DNA he passes on to his offspring that tend to maximize placental growth. The Female Lion includes epigenetic signals in the DNA she passes on to her offspring that tend to blunt this signalling.
Enter the Tiger.
A female Tiger mated to a male Lion doesn’t have the same epigenetic signals to mute the Lions ‘demand’ for maximum placental growth. So a male Lion and a female Tiger produce the GIGANTIC Liger.
A male Tiger mated to a female Lion doesn’t have those same epigenetic signals, but the female does mute the, now non existant, ‘demand’ for maximum placental growth. The result is that a “Tigon” is actually smaller than a Tiger.
Interesting stuff.
Holy Molly!!
Looks like it could eat a truck load of steaks, the driver, and the truck included.
Is this real or photo-shopped?
Wonderful another contradictory set of findings. Let me know when you managed to come up with the real evidence, k?
Liberal/progressives are keenly in tuned in using that scientific methodology for their own purposeful means. Evolution is the embryo of liberalism.... we are gods and we can give and we can take whatever rights we deem socially justified. Because the process of evolution tells us so.
What the evidence demonstrates is this earth is 'ageless' for lack of a better term. And we in these flesh bodies, (does not matter what the human eye can or cannot literally see) and they have been upon this earth in the form we see around God's green earth around 8-10 thousand years. Nobody can date the planting/formation of flesh as we see today human bodies closer than that.
Awesome pics!
Kitty looks pretty fat & happy, but I wonder what it’s like when it doesn’t get it’s happy meal.
The version of this story which ran in the local paper said there was no evidence so far of Neanderthals who had ancestors from so-called modern humans (or Cro-Magnons, or whatever you want to call them). I guess that means that “modern human” women of that time found Neanderthal men attractive, but Neanderthal women did not think that the Cro-Magnon men were sexy.
"Ligers are extremely social animals. They are happy and content living with both lions and tigers. They also display genuine affection for their human handler's and trainers."
Evolution through natural selection of genetic variation in no way implies that we are “gods”. Anti science zealots can never seem to agree on if acceptance of evolution demeans humanity or elevates humanity.
There is much evidence that this Earth is of FINITE but of great age. There is no evidence at all that it is “ageless”.
Humans have been around in their present form for at least 100,000 years.
Before that we see lots of different types of hominids that are clearly human like, but just as clearly NOT human.
Your claims are based upon your own delusions and wishful thinking about what you want to believe, and you are apparently willing to ignore any and all evidence that doesn't conform to what you want to believe.

Thanks James C. Bennett. There has been a spate of these over the past week or so, hence I'll add this to the catalog but not ping the list. :') I do appreciate the ping, very much. |

He men. ooooh
I thought it was politically incorrect to create images of Obama’s prophet, Mohammad.
It’s one of those great, laffoutloud, nerds-win, low-budget indies that comes along every ten years or so.
So man’s best friend is a cat?
Well maybe they could do a better job with the deer eating everything I plant, better than fido. He thinks they’re my problem, and besides the cute little terds they drop are too much fun to roll in anyway.
I’d give a small fortune to see the deer’s reaction to this kitty.
Thanks again for the really cool pics.
So, then what’s 0bama’s excuse?
