Where does sulphur fit in? In AZ, it was a given that sulfur was neccessary for happy plants. Thx and happy gardening!

Sulfur?

Sulfur and Sulfate Fertilizers - Do We Need Them?

Since the 1880's when gypsum was used we have had large increases in air pollution with sulfur dioxide and this apparently supplies sufficient sulfur for crop production in all of Ontario except the extreme northwest.

I guess it depends on how much sulfur is in the air where you live.

I missed your post this morning, sorry. See my post #201 about how I use a little sulphur when transplanting my plants into the garden.
