Hi Cindy...

My area of expertise resides in Project Management of Web Applications....

I'm fairly new at project management...recently transitioning from the technical side of application development....

I was, and to some extent, still am an excellent programmer....by as I move along my new path...my technical skills are beginning to degrade.....but....my project managment skills are increasing...

That's what concerns me the most....I relish being an expert in my field....but I am in transition right now....I have no doubt, if the my course continues, I will be excellent at my new profession...

However, this is not the most opportune time for me to be downsized...in two years I would be in better position...but right now I am not seasoned professional.

Again, I am not sure what is to transpire....but using my intuition....I believe what is coming will likely be dramatic in nature as our company has a new CEO and he is looking to shape the company in the image he sees it going forward into the future.

What I have going for me is that my peers and upper management see me as a top notch contributer....but as I stated previously...that isn't always enough to see you through to the end....
