Of course, she's a one-hit wonder from almost a decade ago, so low album sales is something she seems to be accustomed.
Never heard of her.
she must be a “lipstick lesbian.”
Wonder if she will get one of the trademark buzz cuts.
The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name has become The Love That Won’t Shut The F#%$ Up.
I love this post from the article:
‘How about they just rename this story “Chely Wright is looking for publicity because no one knows who she is and nobody gives a damn” ‘
I would be willing to try and get her to change her mind....
Sounds like she needs to cross over into pop, because this stuff doesn’t sell country music.
The idea of using ones behavior to market recordings is bazaar. What happened to the merits of ones artistry and talent? And such a pitiful type of behavior that fails to experience the ultimate love between a man and a woman.
Following int he footsteps of Lacy J. Dalton. I wonder where she’ll play? Are there are still lesbian biker bars in Santa Cruz?
How far did the left have to go to find THIS nonentity?
Well her “career” is over. Homos traditionally don’t make it too far in Country Music when they “come out”.
I had to look her up, since I don’t recognize her name. I found one song I remember because of the subject matter at http://www.hit-country-music-lyrics.com/Chely-Wright-Bumper-Of-My-Suv-Lyrics.html
Good song, although sluggish tempo. I think I heard it once on the radio. Whenever someone announces to the world he or she is sexually confused/perverted, it’s sad for them and for their loved ones.
Why do these people always get “set to announce”? Who gives a sh&% about her carpet munching BS? I’m sick of it! These people all want to make statements like “it’s hard hiding in the shadows of sexuality” and “I feel so relieved to be able to let the world know” crap. And all while “fighting back tears of joy”.
Who is this?
“Coming out” seems to be the new tactic to try to revive a faded career for over the hill celebs.
Yeah, I’m a little nervous I’m not sure if I shoulda put it in writing
It might have been a little reckless, a little desperate
But I think I did the right thing
I couldn’t go on living keep it hidden
So I’m telling you everything
It’s my confession I hope you get the message
There’s a
Single white female
Looking for that special lover
I’m a country music fan - hardly remember her. I think she has a couple of #1 songs from a decade ago, but I can’t remember the titles. She’s hoping to follow the career path of k.d. lang, I guess....?
Shelby Lynne did the same thing. What happened to her career?
