LOL!
One of my favorite movies, and one of the best all time dialogues!

Theyd go ape about Bazing Saddles today. The only reason they didn't when it came out was because Richard Pryor was the co-write of it.

I reckon my favorites of his would be Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Life Stinks in that order. Favorite show he co-created and wrote? Get Smart.

He doesnt have one yet? Wow.
Isn't the Walk Of Fame star something celebrities and their reps have to solicit and pay for? Brooks and his people might not have been interested before this. Certainly he deserves every honor Hollywood and now Broadway can give him.

Hi Liberty Valance,
What movie is that picture of? I don’t believe I’ve seen it.
I love Mel Brooks movies!
He’s so creative.

He doesnt have one yet? Wow. I believe you have to buy your own star. Perhaps, Mel and his friends were too cheap until now. Perhaps, in today's economy, the price of a star has come down.

He doesnt have one yet? Wow. That was my thought! I figured he'd have had a star long ago!

I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to the cast album signing of the score to “The Producers” at Tower Records in NYC. The signers were Brooks, Matthew Broderick and a very cranky Nathan Lane.
I honestly think I’ve never seen a happier person than Mel Brooks was arriving for that crowd.
Congrats Mel, you really deserve your star!
