Totally correct. They follow the food. My cat just got pretty miffed at me because she did not have the requisite amount of dry food in her dish for the night! Little piggy.
Thank God for the doggies nicer attitudes... even tho’ my husband says they’re Democrats. (Live off of us - sleep all day - always demanding more).

Feeding feral cats is a BAD idea! Feral cats will just breed and breed, leading to a short nasty life for most of them. If they feed them, they had better spay and neuter as well. Even outright extermination is preferable to uncontrolled feral cat populations, because dogs and people will do the job when the population gets out of control. And uncontrolled feline AIDS and other feline diseases will infect domestic cat populations.
Like how? By realizing their habits and needs?
