Starting today, anyone with a blog or website can use the new Raise Your Vote widget to register voters right from their site. [snip]
My non-lawyer’s take — voter registration is different in each state, which I guess means that each state is sovereign regarding how voters are registered.
“Democratic state parties, blogs, and other partners and groups will now be able to easily register voters through their pages, as well as get access to the names and email addresses of those who they register.”
This registration process is slipshod on purpose ...
