Sure, simple pressure could have caused a burst. But all we heard from the beginning was that there was an “explosion” which caused the rupture, and ensuing fire that caused the rig to collapse.

So there was an actual explosion that triggered this? Could an air pocket have fed initial oxygen? Air bubbles in the oil? Underwater welder?
