Truth in advertising:
I've been an off and on, Mitt Romney supporter.
By and large, off. But I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Mitt deserves a second look.
True dat.
Support the architect of Obamacare? Hell no.
Your cartoon should be on billboards across the US.
He still supports HIS health care program in Mass., is a gun-grabber, and just a run-of-the-mill RINO on most other subjects.
Why would we take another look at the same old Romney?!?!? He is still a supporter of unconstitutional government. If he, or someone like him gets the nomination, we will see 4 more years of the Obamessiah.
Romney is a raging liberal!!! NO THANK YOU!!!
Careful. This isn’t “Free” Republic. It’s Mitt-Bashing Central. Tell them he uses Crest toothpaste and they’ll tell you he should be using Colgate. I have problems with Mitt, particularly RomneyCare, but I don’t despise the man as do so many here. Good luck.
Question: I’m beginning to wonder if maybe Mitt deserves a second look.
Answer: No.
Cut Mitt some slack?
I’d rather vote for Obama... at least he’s honest about wanting to “fundamentally change America.”
{IOW, Obama may be an open enemy, but that’s better than someone who is just pretending to be a friend.}
Oh, come on. We have the Tea Party movement that has energized people nationwide, with a call for smaller and non-intrusive government, less taxation, and a resounding NO to national healthcare.
And you come up with this ‘Well, gee, maybe we should reconsider one of our major RINOs’. Yeah, right. Dust off those brain molecules (or whatever) you haven’t used for awhile, and realize what is going on here.
We’re in the midst of a political revolution in this country. The people have had it, and they don’t want anymore of the same-ol’, same-ol’. They want change and that’s reflected in Obama’s unpopularity as well as Congress’s. Do you really believe that a Romney, with his flip-flop baggage and his Mass. health care baggage, will be THE candidate of choice for Americans in 2012?
If so, I have a beautiful vacation spa I want to sell you on the cheap. Send me your email and I’ll send the particulars. Pictures included. All for one low price...
Bingo!
How about an intelligent team this time around? Maybe Bachman and Thaddeus McCotter...
Romney record and flip-flops make him very damaged goods and McLame’s “move” towards the right now is laughable. So who else is going to step up besides Palin?
We need need more conservatives to step up! I doubt if this is going to happen.
These are crazy times though, I never would have thought I would ever say that it’s too bad that Hillary won instead of Obama. She would have been a normal dem lib but she wouldn’t have been able to get away with 1/10 of the stuff that Obama does or push through such a radical agenda.
You are basing your support on what a politician is saying, instead of on what he has done.
That’s insane. We are in trouble because people listen to what politicians say instead of voting based on what they have done!
Did you forget the /rhetorical tag? Of course he won’t.
I’m waiting for Mitt to condemn the atrocity in Mass. started during his governorship. Until I hear it I consider him bash worthy.
Palin has principles that is why she is supporting McCrazy?
I like Paul Ryan, myself. Mitt is damaged goods, he lost his run last time to a weak opponent AND he was for health care in his own state. He is done.
McCotter is about the most awesome potential GOP leader I’ve ever seen.
The guy is PERFECT.
Witty. Quick, just about brilliant as can be. And effectively combative in a scathingly subtle way.
You’re right. Sorry to have not mentioned him.
But I can't.
The latest: Romney said that he would KEEP THE INDIVIDUAL MANDATE IN OBAMACARE.
Sadly, the RINOs would regard it as a positive recommendation, not a blared warning. ;)
