Nice FAL. DSA?
I would sure love to have one of those FALs. Right now I couldn’t afford to shoot it much.
I did own an FN model 1949 which is pretty much the same thing with a wood stock and without the quick take down. It was in 7mm Mauser and was a nice rifle. I have read that they cost a fortune to manufacture. All milled parts and all steel except for the stock.
Actually, that's not MY FAL. But I came across the picture and it's a dead ringer for mine.
Right down to the aftermarket dust cover with the picatinny rail for mounting optics.
And I swapped out the safety with a DSA extended safety so it's more like an L1A1.
