Based on the hundreds of e-mails, Facebook comments and Tweets I've read in response to my denunciation of Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell's decision to honor Confederates for their involvement in the Civil War -- which was based on the desire to continue slavery -- the one consistent thing that supporters of the proclamation offer up as a defense is that these individuals were fighting for what they believed in and defending their homeland.
In criticizing me for saying that celebrating the Confederates was akin to honoring Nazi soldiers for killing of Jews during the Holocaust, Rob Wagner said, "I am simply defending the honor and dignity of men who were given no choice other than to fight, some as young as thirteen."

I believe B. Hussein Obama is deliberately trying to bring about our downfall so we can be re-made into the banana republic of his dreams, the banana republic of his heros like Fidel Castro and other Marxists, the banana republic of his paternal heritage, Kenya. (Recall that B. Hussein Obama was in Kenya several years ago stumping for Mr. Odinga, his cousin, who is a radical socialist). Obama's own father was a capitalist-hating Communist, and apparently Obama's mother agreed with the Rev. Wright's assessment that America's "rich white men" are an evil controlling class that should be shunned. Communism, racism, entitlement-ism and anti-Americanism are what Mr. Obama was steeped in during his youth.
Barak Hussein Obama's savaging of our military strength and his obsession with coddling our enemies pretty much speaks for itself anyway. Cut our nukes and delivery systems in half? Close Gitmo? Try terrorists in civil Courts? Wait five months to give his Generals badly needed troops as Afghanistan slipped away? Denounce America's great victory and liberation of Iraq from radical Islamists like Saddam Hussein? Arrest Navy Seals for slapping a terrorist around? Go head hunting within the CIA to nab agents who allegedly 'tortured' murderous terrorists? Personally ridicule and insult good, respectable American citizens who attend peaceful, lawful Tea Party rallies? Literally ram his socialist "health care" agenda down the throats of an American public who made it clear they rejected his plan? This man is the Great Divider.
The fact that he has made political enemies of conservatives, (rather than political opponents), is frightening. His raping of middle class and wealthy Americans is clear evidence of his agenda to remake America into a banana republic. Obama believes that personal excellence and hard work should not be rewarded with wealth, (unless it's his wealth), even though this was this very system of 'reward for innovation and excellence' that forged America into the strongest, freeist nation on earth. I knew from the get-go that this man was a died-in-the-wool bigot who, along with his Pastor the "Reverend" Wright, abhors Jews, "rich white men", and American history and tradition. What I didn't know was that so many narcissistic, swarming maggots in D.C. would swirl around this thug and throw palms in his path as though he were the Second Coming. We are in deep trouble.
How on earth could the American people elect such an obvious enemy of the American way? I knew we had become bullied and ridiculed into political correctness, but I had no idea we had become so completely brainwashed and de-balled by the Left. If the vote doesn't go overwhelmingly Right in the November elections, or if Hussein Obama gets re-elected, America can kiss itself goodbye. And it won't be Obama and the Left who ruined America, it will be the empty-headed bimbos and pussy-males who comprise the majority of what's left of America.

If there is any civil violence, you can bet that the Democrats will be behind it because what little violence there has been has already been committed by Democrats, SEIU, and typical Dem wannabes playing at being anarchists. If there is street violence, again and again, it is Democrats doing it. When is the last time you can remember Republicans rioting. You'll think a long time, because it doesn't happen. Dems do it all the time. Remember the riots in Seattle a couple of years back? Republicans?
