Im kinda sick of hearing Tiger every 10 seconds...Im hoping for Mickelson.. You'll hear it even if he loses. ...stuff like "after what he's gone through it's incredible that Tiger has the strength of character just to get out bed in the morning and hold a golf club, let alone contend at the Masters. He's superhuman!"
Crap like that.

Oh sure. ...but back in Hogan’s day the paychecks were anemic, at best.

"Makes we wish Id gotten into golf years ago."
I tried a couple of rounds in 1976 in Georgia. I noticed a number of clubs wrapped around trees and decided I did not need to add a frustration producing endeavor to my life.

Indeed, the Green Jacket is the ultimate golf prize. ...with the Claret Jug second, imo.

Theyll show repeats from yesterday and well get to hear Jim Nance in the cabin (as if anyone really cares what he has to say). I wish they could just show golf and cut the interviews and other crap out.
You said it. For a program that brags about only 4 minutes per hour of commercials, they sure don't show 56 minutes of actual golf action! God Bless Nicklaus, Palmer and Player, but I can do without segment after segment on what great "gentlemen of the game" they are and have to watch them walking around instead of current players actually competing. Tradition is great, but you don't have to shove it down our throats every 30 seconds we'd rather see the actual contest.

KJ Choi by the way is a devout Christian. A good fellow and a very good golfer. He is from South Korea but he lives in Texas.
Ricky Barnes, Poults and Mahan are all very good golfers but six strokes is a lot to make up.

Well they must be over doing on “tradition” to make up for the mack daddy pimp horndog adulterer in the field with a bad temper. The same guy the PGA/USGA refuse to test for steroids and HGH.

Yesterday at times I felt like we were watching a match play event. When they couldn’t show a live shot from Tiger or Phil they either went to commercial, showed a puff piece or an interview. Now I know those watching on TV want to see Tiger and Phil but I also have to believe they’d rather watch other golfers than the other crap SeeBS passes off as live coverage.

He seems like a nice guy...calls himself “Mr. KJ” and jokes with the reporters. Good pairing...

LOL. Yep, the same clowns salivating over a potential Tiger win will have all the excuses ready should he lose. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Sports Illustrated still finds a way to put him on the cover like they did a few years ago when Zach Johnson won.
