Guys’ guys are, as they always were, still around. And, as always, the red-blooded strong silent types continue to work relatively silently ... leaving the drama to feminists and whiners.
I read “The Art of Manliness” on occasion, and find it an enjoyable read, even if I don’t always take fashion or shaving tips (Gilette is fine with me). Even being an attorney, I’m not particularly interested in fashion (”dapper” or otherwise), and generally dress to blend-in, not stick out ... so I’m not really the fedora-wearing-type. I dress well enough that people don’t think I’ve kidnapped my well-dressed wife ... but not well enough that it isn’t entirely clear that I’ve married up.
Nonetheless, I highly recommend the AOM website. Good information about how good men get things done.

My piece concerns a lot more than just dress, but the guy who runs that site mentioned the clothing issue like this one.
LOL...if you need a book about how to be manly (especially one with "Art" in the title), you're probably not...
