I guess my ethical and moral standards are a bit higher than yours.
There are no ethical or moral standards where I need to stick my nose into other people's business where it doesn't directly relate to me and where society has no need either in preserving the overall well-being of society, legally or morally.
I see way too many people sticking their noses into everyone else's business where it's simply a matter of one person not liking how another handles himself. And then we have the liberalists and socialist, where they figure that "your business is their business" ... LOL...
Sorry, I'm not getting into the liberal, leftists viewpoint of "your business is my business."
I figure you stay out of my business and I stay out of your business.
There are times when we have some important societal matters to deal with and we do so, as a society (naturally and rightfully so), but if you're an SOB, that's your business... go ahead and be one for all I care... LOL ...
If you break some laws and you get prosecuted, that's one thing, but if you're a jerk, no one can stand to be around you, everyone hates you, you are considered to be the worst person who has ever existed in the human race as far as getting along with people -- I simply don't care and don't want to be bothered!... :-)
Yeah, and it is precisely that attitude on the part of British capitalists that gave birth to Marxism. Unless business is kept honest, society loses in the long run. Economists as early as Adam Smith understood that dangers of “balls to the wall” capitalism. “I’ve got mine, Jack, and you can go to hell”. No thanks.
