Weird stuff seems to go with major comets. When a comet appeared in A.D. 60, the people of Rome assumed it meant the impending death of their still new emperor, Nero. He responded by exiling a potential rival. When another comet turned up just 4 years later, ancient historians say he ordered the execution of dozens of nobles. It is said that Moctezuma II saw a comet in 1517 that foreshadowed the downfall of Aztec empire. In 1910, a wave of hysteria swept over the United States amid reports that Earth was about to pass through Halley's tail.

More “Mythbusters” episodes turned up on the streaming-vid.

Frank’s trying to break into the dog crate. I think he figured out the latch. Gotcher pork roast in the crockpot again.

Isn’t that a simple way to do a pork roast? Even better is when you use crockpot liners so you don’t have to wash the crock!!

Maybe in a while, I’ll go see what the local pit stop has in the way of cheap wine. I probably should have bought some this morning when I was out, but I was beginning to lose some of my enthusiasm, after two days of running.

And tomorrow, I have to do it again. I’m supposed to get a larger storage unit, but I may wait another month. I’m tired. And the units are inside, so it’s not like I’ll be out in the heat.

Frankenbaby is an awesome little guy!!

My guy is pulling chairs and trying to go from the dining table to try and swing from the chandelier above.

As he gets older we have to watch him more and more.
Also, he's getting faster and we are getting slower by the second. :-(

Climbing, digging into drawers, going after computers, dishes, TV, remotes, through closets, bathrooms, kitchen cabinets and electrical sockets.
That is in the first minute after he wakes up.

That'll make it feel better straight away.

Didn't work. Well, did sort of, but it was reinflamed by today's class.

The group is about to go try beer therapy.

The really bad news is that I thought I was safe -- I was only taking this class to learn stuff. But I just double-checked the requirements and I find I am qualified for this certification after all. I had mis-read the requirements before. Sigh.

Later...

I tend to exist in a meta-state until summoned.
Much like Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, or Zalgo.

Beer therapy, followed by TAPED karaoke blackmail therapy.
Oh yes, the tapes, those hideous tapes.

Beer therapy is almost as good as a Restorative! Depending on where you are in the “needing theraputic restoration,” that is.

I kinda liked “The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.” Often movies like that refresh my brain ~ a little Whimsy Therapy.
