c) getting knocked off by XF? It will survive at least through 2011. On the Idol site they've announced the audition cities for the 10th season. Whether it survives beyond that depends HUGELY on Simon's replacement, IMO. And if Ellen stays on the show.
If they dropped her and the begathon it would be a huge improvement.
