I agree. Shania always has a lot more energy to her songs. I’ve had this same problem with all the contestants this year. They are NOTHING like Chris Daughtry or Carrie Underwood. They had soooo much passion in their voices on AI and that’s why they’ve done so well. This year everyone is boring.

Considering some of the belters they’ve had in past seasons it’s pretty frustrating - like everyone’s afraid to just sing.
