LMAO!

It's like behind the scenes at "Tales From The Crypt".

Seriously, this season has rapidly approached "completely boring" with an occasional detour into "painful".

Between Seacrest, Degeneris, and Lambert, can the show get any gayer? Maybe if the dressed the female contestants in flannel and made the guys cross-dress, but that's about the only step left.

And if this wasn't bad enough, next week is the beg-a-thon.

Meanwhile, on to the (yawn) singing. In a massive shocker, Crystal Dirtylocks, Casey "The stick figure stuck to a guitar" James, and Lee "Who?" Dewize all managed to sound exactly like they do every week. Way to "mix it up", you three. Oh, and a tip to Crystal and Casey -- for the love of all that is holy, can you at least try to perform without hiding behind an instrument?

Big Mike did a pretty decent job this week, but even there, it's pretty much in exactly the same zone as what he's been doing recently.

Siobhan was out in Siobhan land again. While she entertains me the most out of any of this lot, she'll have a hard time winning the competition if she continues to be all over the place.

I know it sounds contradictory -- slamming some contestants for being too consistent while railing on others for not being consistent enough. There's a middle ground that has to be reached, and I don't really see anyone there.

Katie was pretty decent. Too little too late, though? At least she's willing to take the notes and try to improve, however, so props for that. I thought Tim did surprisingly well; he did a good job changing things up, and was one of the few that didn't sound karaoke. With any luck, he'll get enough of the Ferlie vote so we can ditch...

Aaron. I mean, he finally picks a song that's not too "old" for him, and just comes across as a doofus doing it. He's trying too hard, and it's showing, rather than adapting the songs to fit him.

Andrew... he's finally started to get into his groove again, but you know what? He's become boring. Even when he does something a little different and offbeat, he manages to make it dull. Then again, this whole season is dull, so maybe he fits in the group better than he otherwise should.

No rankings from me. It's become pointless.
