I did but it was many years ago. I had to be very firm with them, I don’t recall exactly, but I did only pay for the first one. (if they are still sending additional ones with a bill, which I assume they are)

Video Professor has been the subject of numerous law suits. Seems “free” means something different to him than us meer mortals.

Just to be clear, I am not buying or thinking about buying this product. I am looking for people who have bought it.

"The commercials tout "FREE" CDs to teach consumers how to use computers and various popular software."Nothing is free and anyone touting a product as such is pulling a scam. I learned to use Exel and Access by using large manuals plus trial an error. The fact that I am somewhat of techno geek did help in the process.

I responded to their “Free” offer four or five years ago. I received a video and immediately received another with an invoice. I called and canceled my order. They told me it would be canceled and to keep the video's they sent free of charge. Which I did. Long and short of it, no problems.

I sent them a check for postage. I got one video for Microsoft Word and that was that. Nobody gets my credit card numbers any more.

Watching videos as a very poor way to learn technical topics. Buy a $45 book covering your topic. Find a quiet place to carefully read it on a regular. Practice what you’ve learned. Repeat as necessary.

Hope you get more replies. I was interested in the Learn to sell on ebay CD.
I know I could learn for free at ebay by pouring through all of their instructions, but I just didn’t want to. If this CD can explain it easier, then I’m ready to order it.
The only thing I’ve heard is they get you on the shipping and handling charges. But that was hearsay, so maybe others will have first-hand experience.
