It will be such a horrfic time that Jesus said unless He returns (at the end of this time) to cut it short, not a single human being would survive that soon to begin time called the “time of Jacob’s trouble” and long foretold throughout scripture - both hold and new Testaments.

But for the sake of the elect, it would be shortened else no one would survive. Note, for the sake of the elect. Note also the admonition of Jesus that those who stood firm to the end would be saved and that those who saw the abomination that causes desolation should, what, wait for the cosmic airlift of a pre-trib rapture, or take off running to the hills leaving all behind?
