If pets are with their masters in Heaven, what becomes of the pet that had more than one family during its life? Let’s say Fido was raised by a loving family but they moved away and the owners couldn’t take him with them so they gave him away to another family that loved the dog just as much and then that family was killed in a tragic accident so the dog was adopted by still another family that loved the dog until it passed away.
If all the families were Christians and the dog was there in Heaven, which one would get to keep the dog??
What if the dog was treated better by a bunch of heathens than it was by any of the Christian owners? Who tells the dog “sorry, you don’t get to live with your favorite family?”
See how absurd this all gets?
I don’t doubt that if God wants animals to be in Heaven, he’ll provide them. And if they are given to us, we will love them and treat them well. But we’re going to have to accept that some things we loved on earth won’t be there - including spouses or family members.
And you know what? We won’t care because the treasures we will have there will make us quickly forget any treasures we had to leave behind. That’s why I think it’s a bit silly to debate what we will be able to take with us in the next life. We should put no idols before God and if you love something on Earth more than you love God, you should re-examine your priorities.
And you would do well to listen to Quix carefully, he has a great deal of solid, biblical information and sound doctrine to offer. And, you should ping him as a courtesy when you reference him in a post.
And Quix is right...it is just a wafer. The sacrifice is finished and Jesus is risen! Those are His words, my FRiend. We proclaim Him alive from the dead, never to suffer again, the Conqueror over death, the Giver of Life, the Rescuer of our souls. Forget the trinkets, forget the repetitious chanting, forget the absolution by men, forget all of the ceremonial layering Rome slathers on over this one truth...He is alive to save completely those whom He has foreknown and predestined to become conformed to His image.
Amen to every word.
THANKS TONS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS.

However, it would not surprise me that the God who can reaise up children of Abraham from rocks could recreate any pet HE CHOSE to for the pleasure of His kids in Heaven.
I would suspect, however, that our priorities would be different, there.
That is a very good, Scriptural answer.
Thanks.
This comports with all the spiritual reading I’ve been doing since my husband passed away in October.
Thanks for the ping!
Thought you’d find this thread interesting.
John is speaking in Matthew 3. The punch-line belongs to him. 8~)
THANKS TONS FOR YOUR KIND REPLY.
You are a treasure and encouragement in a dry land.

God bless!!!
You are so welcome!
Blessings to you this Holy Week!
Oh - it does? That’s wonderful to hear.
I didn’t know your husband went to haaven last October.
My mother died 32 years ago and my 88 year old Dad just told my sister recently that he still has dreams about her and recently after one of these dreams, that when he woke up, he could feel her presence there with him in that bedroom.
He had never said anything like that to any of us four children since her death.
Perhaps God is giving us all a little glimpse of heaven - because His return from there is so near.
You are very welcome! Have a glorious Holy Week!
Good morning. God bless you!
Well - LOL - don’t know how all that will work out.
Agree we are to have nothing before our God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! He is our all in all.
But isn’t it just like Jesus Christ to want to give gracious gifts to His beloveds - to you to me to all who belong to Him. The Bible says God is the author of every good and perfect gift. Our beloved animals are his gifts to us. So doesn’t it make sense and fit right in with His grace, mercy, love, and kindness towards us to think He will make provision for those animals who have captured our hearts while here on this earth!
Hope you ave a precious Holy Week.
ROFL! Yes - for sure - Paul is a “well-done” - amen! LOL.
OH - LOL - look out!
Thanks for those comments.
“The angels that did not fall, of course, they are still in heaven.”
Well, yes, they reside in heaven. But the angels are all around us here on earth now and of course will be in heaven with us for all eternity.
And THAT is another subject worthy of another thread!
OH my - you’re right - so much that’s soooo good right there! Thanks!
