Seven questions, name, age, race, total number of people living here and then you have to list the names of those living there, relationship and race.

no signature required.

The government always divides by race.

I've got a question for the freaking Feds: Since my Congressional district doesn't have a Rep, and our gov is refusing to schedule a special election, why in HADES shoud I fill out your bloody form?!

I believe the 1850 census asked how many acres you farmed if your occupation was farmer. I don’t remember them asking about other property.

I wished that they asked what state or country you were born in this year. They asked that in 1850 and that along with the age of my ancestors was very helpful.

The 1830 and 40 style of census makes it really hard to trace folks. Not enough information.

Oh..., that's no problem. I think the Census has already verified (by "previous responses" doncha know) that there are hardly any whites left in this country anyway... so it's of no big concern to them.

By the time this current Census is finished, they should be able to prove that there are only about 10 whites left in the country... LOL ...

The peculiar thing is that I can find parents and grandparents in old handwritten census records, but until this last count, I have not existed as an adult.

Don't they care about us?

Now they do ask if your, here goes:
Asian Indian, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Guamanian, Chamorro, Samoan, Fijian, Tongan, Hmong, Laotian, Thai, Pakistani, Cambodian.

Don't they give a damn about the Irish, Scotch, Italians, Polish, Checks, Greeks, English, etc., etc., etc.
What about people like in this paragraph that made this country great, helped grow it from the beginning, died for it?

Since I haven't seen a Census form (that's my story and I'm sticking by it...) -- I'll have to ask, "Don't they have a fill-in blank there for you?"

Yes they do. #9, at the end, "some other race".
It says "print race". So I printed "race".

Screw the genealogists. Your ancestors are dead and aren't going to do you any good. In fact they may do you harm. You never know when the government may want to know if you have any Japanese ancestry (World war II), or if you have any Jewish blood (Nazis/leftist democrats).

What you don’t see at the Census Office, is the form they fill out where they put down, under IQ — “Dumber than a rock...” LOL ...

I left the phone number blank. And I took my cues from previous census questions, like from 1920 and 1930.
