I regret never making it over there. I’ve been to Mount Vernon and Monticello but was never close enough to make the trip over to Montpelier.

I’ve been there - beautiful place. The family history & the restoration of the house is most interesting. Our trail club was honored to be asked to refurbish the trails in the James Madison Landmark Forest where some of the trees are 2-300 years old. Website: http://www.montpelier.org/
