Recently, I got a new cellphone with mobile web access. It appears as though it's kind of difficult to navigate through FR using a mobile browser, so I was curious to know if there are any sort of settings that I need to change to make browsing a little easier.
Also, it took me several attempts to try and log in using my phone. Is this typically a problem? Thanks in advance.
are you certain?
Yea it definitely takes some getting used to, but being able to check it out when you’re killing time somewhere is the bomb ;)

I have trouble copying other posters' comments for reference when I am responding, but other than that, it works like a charm on the mobile.
And comes in handy when I'm stuck waiting somewhere.
Well, duh, it is obvious you were logged in. Why would we ask that?

This is a hugh and series issue that you are stuning my beber with, Bob.
For the most awesome web experience on a phone, get an iPhone.
FR and every other site work flawlessly. See my tag line.
Why didn’t you say “Iphone”. I have experience with that one. Actually, I use the Itouch, an ipod without the phone part. I love it.
Learn the old spread the 2 finger apart to magnify the text.
Have you visited the app store yet? Before you do, go to walmart and buy 2 each $100 app store gift cards. That will get you started.
I downloaded the Constitution, the bill of rights, and the bobble head Congress contact apps. I then got my “Proud to be a Republican” elephant.
Do you like to read? Check out the kindle for the iphone app. It is free, the books are cheaper on Amazon, and you can sync it with a kindle and kindle for PC (also free) app.
Now I gotta look at the other apps I have.
Oh yes, AOL radio is a must. EBAY and paypal are pretty handy. I like “save Bengies”, which is a comparative shopper search engine. Put in model number of something and it looks all over the web for prices.
Try AP mobile news, too.
But the big trick is the 2 finger zoom into the text.
Oh, and by the way, be sure to log in. Your apple beeber won’t work with out logging in, even in the shower, with my sister, the moose.

No problem with Iphone here. In fact since buying it, my PC is nothing but a decorative item in my house. It’s a bit slower to type a post on a thread with the Iphone but it’s worth it for being able to stay up to date with the news anytime.
Turn off graphics and javascript.
Access FR through the RSS feed to browse the headlines. Depending on the phone, you might want to use a 3rd party software for reading RSS feeds.
If you mention which PDA you bought we might be able to help more.
Using Opera Mini Browser is also a good option. It has built in RSS support.
Sweeet! Yep, the Constitution was one of my first downloads. I find all my other cool goo with “Pandora’s Box”, which lists all the apps that have had price changes from $n.nn to FREE, so there’s a smorgasbord of nifty new apps to download every day.
Oh, wait, am I logged in. Damnit. I forgot to log in. How do I log in. Damn. Damn.
