Scrap it.
Obama supporter Warren Buffet told CNBC today that the current democratic health care bill does not focus on controlling costs and he would scrap it.
The Politico reported:
Billionaire investor Warren Buffett advised President Barack Obama on Monday to scrap the health care bill and start over.
In an interview with CNBC, Buffett said the current bill does not focus on controlling costs, which he sees as the central problem that must be addressed to reform the system. He added that while he does not like the Senate bill, hed vote for it in preference to doing nothing.
What we have now is untenable over time, said Buffett, an early supporter of Obamas candidacy. That kind of a cost compared to the rest of the world is really like a tapeworm eating, you know, at our economic body.

He would probably prefer to scrap Zero too like the majority of the country. Zero’s henchmen in Congress are TOAST come November. Count on it.
Buffet was never anyting to Obama but a useful idiot.
Obama to come out with PLAN B.... false teeth in every pot!!!
When Berkshire Hathaway speaks, Resident (Pres_ent) Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., or Barry Soetoro, or Mr Michelle Robinson, or Sock-Puppet, would be well advised to listen.
Even if this is somehow put through both Houses of Congress, Warren Buffet is saying, veto it.
In this case, the bad is the enemy of the truly abysmal.
I dont like the bill but I would vote for it? WTF?
I can only watch so much “Warren Buffett” oogling Becky Quick in the morning, so I did catch some of that interview. Among the many things I found disturbing was his saying “we have to pursue carbon emissions legislation, even if we don’t have scientific proof... if there’s a 50% chance, or even 35% chance or even a 25% chance that man-made global warming is a threat to the environment, then we HAVE to act. We have to go over to China and say ‘we’re sorry... we know we’ve been the biggest contributor to pollution and carbon emissions, but now we’re going to make up for it and we’d like you to join us” (I couldn’t take any more, so I’ll leave it there).
The one thing I would have like to have seen would have been a viewer question getting through along the lines of: “President Obama claimed last week that he’s not a socialist and is a big supporter of the free market... Do you agree with him? Is it a problem if our President is a socialist?” I wonder if Warren could speak the truth on that one...
No his plan B is to kill off all us old geezers, just as they do the Unborn.

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:
http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/05/tricare-for-life-is-obama-trying-to.html
This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.) http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/99xx/doc9925/12-18-HealthOptions.pdf

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
Snip The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.
Snip
Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees in fiscal 2010, Matz said. We took them at their word, and I cant believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward, he added.
This may happen. I heard Obama is going to release a much scaled-back bill later this week.
If he does, be confident it will have the underpinnings to build his single-payer system upon.
