Charlie Crist apparently wants to cast himself as a reasonable moderate in the Florida Republican primary for the open Senate seat. That may be understandable with Marco Rubios rise as a conservative star in the national political fundament, but it takes more than gainsay to make an argument for moderate positions. Call this a Kirk Watson moment; when the Palm Beach Post challenged Crists insistence that he wouldnt scrap ObamaCare by asking him to identify anything he liked about it, Crist came up empty (via Newsbeat1):
Gov. Charlie Crist, a Republican U.S. Senate candidate, told The Palm Beach Post editorial board on Friday that, unlike many Republicans in Washington, he didnt think President Obama should scrap his health care reform proposal:
There may be parts of it that you dont have to scrap. There are three parts of it that I would like to see scrapped: It would raise taxes significantly, it would raise rates significantly and it would take half-a-trillion dollars out of Medicare.

(1) Has he left the GOP yet? There were rumors.
(2) Does Florida have a sore loser law like Pennsylvania?
(3) Is he really this tone-deaf?
go for it Charlie - I think you’re done already anyway
Mr Crist certainly has “grown” over time. Let me guess - his wife is an ultra-liberal?
closet queen
Crist would probably vote fot Obamacare just for a chance to join Obama at the signing ceremony in the hopes he could satisfy his man-crush and feel obama embrace one more time.
For anyone wishing to splain to crist what an ass he is,

I hope Rubio whips his homo ass in the primary.
If rumors are to be believed, his wife has no influence over him whatsoever.
you mean his ‘beard’?
Joe Biden’s understudy?

Crist says he would not scrap Dem health care reform, canât identify part worth keeping
Crist = RAT!
The political republican establishment here in FL went for Crist over Gallagher.
Anyone with any conservative principles could see he was not one of us. When he regaled us with that story during the debates on how he was walking on the beach, thinking about oil slicks.
It was eye rolling. Classic lib sentimentalism. The question was, do you support off shore drilling? We got a “women and children and the environment” story instead of an answer. I had him typed from that second. Sad the FL pubbie good old boys didn’t.
Liberal girl/boy friend? Funny how liberal women are attracted to up and coming conservatives.
Marco, blow this pitiful definition of an ultra liberal RINO out of the country in November, please?
Why do we even care about Crist anymore...unless Rubio slips up big-time, the election is over for him. He’s a local issue now, just another governor.
You can dance-every dance with the guy
Who gives you the eye,let him hold you tight
You can smile-every smile for the man
Who held your hand neath the candle light
But don't forget who's takin' you home
And in whose arms you're gonna be
So darlin' save the last dance for me
