There’s nothing un-Christian about light-heartedness

I have a friend (not mentioning religion lest I be accused of ‘bashing) whose husband would not allow laughter or jokes in the house at all, even from the kids, because they had taken a oath in their church that they would ‘refrain from lightmindedness’.

A couple of years ago she became a Christian and has really discovered her sense of humor and the Joy of Christ.

Her husband still gets angry when she laughs at home. It is horribly sad.
