As for Beck, if he is advocating a third party for conservatives (and I don't listen to him enough to know whether he is or not), I think that would be a mistake at this point because the splintering effect would help the Marxists. However, someone needs to keep the Republicans honest, because they drift leftward any time the heat is not being put on them. And if Beck helps to keep them honest he is doing all of us a favor.
And, by the way, while I like Levin it appears he is extremely jealous of Beck so I try to keep that in mind when I hear of him criticizing Beck.

I caught part of Bennett’s morning show today (which i try to avoid. )
he was advocating McCain, defending him against irate callers, and pointing to all of Reagan’s missteps, saying, “See?and HE was conservative. You’re not gonna get anyone who’s perfect!”
it was maddening, I quickly changed the dial.
