"24" Themed Countdown Clock (1 Minute)
Set in New York City, "Day Eight" unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations as President Allison Taylor (Jones), alongside new chief of staff ROB WEISS (Chris Diamantopoulos), negotiates international security with OMAR HASSAN (Anil Kapoor), a determined Middle Eastern leader visiting the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. As the new day begins, an upgraded CTU operates under the command of M.B.A.-schooled, razor-sharp head honcho BRIAN HASTINGS (Mykelti Williamson), who supervises quirky CHLOE O'BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst DANA WALSH (Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst ARLO GLASS (John Boyd).
COLE ORTIZ (Freddie Prinze Jr.), an ex-Marine who wants to follow in Bauer's footsteps, leads field operations while Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching) returns with an agenda of her own. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions.

He was willing to work through the whole dumping the bodies in the river thing, but now Man-Hands has gone too far!! Who can honestly say they haven't dumped a few dead bodies for a lying, cheating woman they loved? I know I have.

We got our first silent clock of the season though. Gosh, I didn't even notice the silent clock. I was too busy thinking of what I shall do on Mondays next season without "Jack, the other white meat". I surely shall starve.
To: ThreePuttinDude
That was a great shot of Renee, she jogged over to Jack, and those perky little things were bouncing a little. Yeeeehaaw what a great show. There was an interview Annie did with someone, referenced on Twitter...they asked her how it is, filming while preggers...she said, and I quote, "It was actually easier to hide my little baby bump that was forming than a couple of other things that get really big when you have a baby." (emphasis added)

OK, I watched. Why isn’t it over now? I mean, I know it’s “24”, but we got the rods, Hassan is dead, the peace deal is over. Oh, that’s right, I’m supposed to be upset that we didn’t sell out to the IRK for a peace deal — but I don’t care. (Not that I cared about nuking NY, they already nuked LA so it seems a certain symetry).
ManHands lost her immunity, although I guess she’ll do another one to turn over her REAL contact.
Actually, my theory is that they re-wrote the story line when they found out 24 was cancelled, so they could finish up the loose threads from the previous seasons.
I wonder if CTU will ever find the Probation officer?

How longs it been since we had a silent clock?! Twice, last season...end of the episode where Jack shot Renee and buried her alive, and when Bill Buchanan died...in part 2 of a double episode.
And Edgar is still dead. (he got a silent clock too)

BTW, am I the only one who thinks that wasnt Hassan??? Sure looked like him...but if they could fake Tony's death, then why not fake Pompadour's as well?

Why isn’t it over?
‘cause now they find out the Ruskies were behind the whole thing.
As for Manhands, Cole holds all the cards. First, she didn’t get immunity for murder. So Cole should save himself by telling Bubba about the two rednecks in a van down by the river-—says he arrived after she shot them, she told him it was self defense, he helped her get away. (Bullet ballistics might be a problem)
Who’s going to believe her after they find the dead parole officer smack in the middle of CTU? Some other agency knows the connection between CTU and the warehouse robbery (parole officer told her that). So they’ll find the tape of that. She left a real mess behind. Who’s going to believe her anyway, now that she’s the traitor?

I liked some of the comments on the thread, couldn’t they get a better webcam? Also for people like me from fly over country, all the streets of NYC look the same.
BTW, couldn’t CTU do better background checks? Bet manhands couldn’t buy a legal gun in Detroit!!!

The eeevil white guys who are ulimately behind the terrorist scheme haven’t been introduced into the plot, so no, it is not the finale. The two hour episode last night was episode 15. 3 double-episodes made last night conlusion closed out hour 18.
To: newbie 10-21-00
Yikes, that means we only have 6 episodes left...forever?!
I’m starting to have withdrawal symptoms.

As in all previous seasons, eeeevil rich white guys are ultimately behind the evil deeds of Day 8. These bastards haven’t been introduced to the days events but they’re coming and we have 6 hours to go. Maybe the eeevil white guys are going to be led by Jack’s brother. Bump that one, Jack already killed him. Maybe by Jack’s father, sure he blowed up on the oil platform, but I never saw a body, did you? Maybe a second brother? And how the hell can Kim be shown in the first couple of hours and not once, not a single time, be Kimnapped? With six hours to go, I predict two Kimnappings.
