I know one couple who let their 6 year old daughter get pierced ears. They paraded her around and she (the girl) was proud of it. It was disturbing.

Then please don’t come to San Antonio. Or a million other places where the Mexican culture pierces ears of 6 week olds.

that’s not just a “mexican culture” thing. my cousins four daughters all had their ears pierced about that age.

I wouldn’t call ear piercings of children disturbing but I wouldn’t do it to a child. I figure if the child is old enough to ask for it by herself she’s old enough to have it done.
