Doesn’t seem very fair when the airline is determining the freezing temperature on the plane. Was on an international flight last month and the plane was freezing. I had on a hoodie with the hood on and a blanket. I was still freezing.

The heat for the aircraft comes from the bleed air from the compressor section of the turbines. The use of bleed air for heat to the passenger cabin costs the airlines bucks in a greater fuel burn for the trip.
