Dem leader: "We are rewriting ObamaCare for passage"
Fox News Channel | 2/3/10

Posted on 02/03/2010 10:18:17 AM PST by pabianice

Dem Allyson Schwartz on Fox. She assures Kelly that ObamaCare is being rewritten for quick passage and signing by Obama. It is still top priority for Dems, but now in stealth mode. Claims reconciliation will not be necessary nor attempted. Biggest Whopper: 'Scott Brown is actually for ObamaCare, just not as written so far.' Claims Americans are in favor of ObamaCare despite polls showing the opposite.

Seems the Dems really are going to use ObamaCare as their Kamikazi platform.

I sincerely hope Scott Brown is not going to be a party to this.

All they need to do is pass it in some limited form and then perpetually redefine and expand it via unelected “medical care” panel.

The only way to ensure that legislators are the ones who implement any changes is to explicitly define what it does not cover or allow. That would require a subsequent bill to change.

Biggest Whopper: 'Scott Brown is actually for ObamaCare, just not as written so far.'

How sure are we that this is a whopper?

Jackie Collins’ novels actually are Nobel Prize winning literature, just not as written so far.

The more I see of Scott Brown the less I like and trust him. I donated, I wanted him to win and I’m glad he won because he was by far the lesser of the 2 evils.

Were not but he did say during the campaign that the HCR bill as written needed to be completely tossed out and started over with a blank piece of paper.

Well, even I am for some health care reform.

Start with tort reform, then add in some state-to-state competition and stop there.

Makes me wonder if any of the democrat criminals (redundant, I know) in the U.S. Congress ever heard of Operation Market-Garden.

I’m sure Barack Obama wouldn’t understand the meaning of the term “a bridge too far”. He is, after all, not American in the commonly used sense of the word.

Looks like the only way they can do this is via reconciliation, and it appears that if they go that route the Republicans can propose unlimited amendments to every comma and semi-colon. If it shuts down Congress for the rest of the year we’ll take it!

Exactly! She’s putting words in his mouth - he said he was for healthcare reform..BUT NOT THIS BILL. Alyson will be going after this term...

Watch his actions, not his rhetoric. No freshman senator elected under these conditions — with this much at stake — is going to buck his party’s leadership before the midterms.

Write a bill that states that it is illegal for government at any level to provide medical care or insurance!
