I assume this is limited to pop or rock? Otherwise, no top solo women list could be complete without Patsy Cline. Patsy Cline could rock with the best of them, as she demonstrated in her 1957 opus "Ain't No Wheels on this Ship". There's a recording of the song on Youtube, but for some reason, the link doesn't work on FR.
