America's dream of putting another man on the moon was dashed last night as President Obama announced a spending freeze to combat a record-breaking £1trillion U.S. budget deficit.

Nasa's plan to launch a series of new manned moon missions was one of 120 government-funded programmes to be culled to help slice into the mammoth debt.

The fighting Israel’s wars claim sounds like something out of Code Pink or the Klan. (funny how similar they are)

Go to his profile and check out his posting history. He's been mighty prolific in the last eleven days.

His posts seem like an exaggerated form of stereotypical conservative opinion.

By the way, apparently he's a "bagger" and proud of it. The slur makes him "swell with pride."

Weren't we warned that "clever trolls for hire" would show up and create ammunition for our enemies?

America's dream of putting another man on the moon was dashed last night...

If putting another man on the moon is an American Dream, it should be done by private investment, not on the backs of the American tax payer.

Unfortunately international treaties make it as untouchable and unprofitable as Antarctica so it won't be done by any American companies. Looks like handing the economic and military high ground to the world is our destiny.

And wait til you see the pile on Monopoly money needed to buy all the right of ways for his slower-than-a-car 1890’s trains...

At least he could shoot for 110 mph 1930’s trains.

Milwaukee to Stowe, VT is several train changes and 1 1/2 days for $400.

Can’t wait to see all you younger guys taking multiday train rides to get anywhere because Hussein has levied a $10 gal Fed Tax on gasoline.

“Jeez! A moon mission would actually do more for the economy than giving stimulus money to union cronies and business owned by spouses of czars!”

and a national GOAL of colonizing the solar system would raise the US so far above anyother country to make heads spin.

But that would clash with Hussein’s fondness for dusty villages.

correct. this cancelation of manned space flight has brought out anti-nasa trolls in force.

Arguements:
a waste of money;
not Constitutional;
nothing of value on the moon;
nasa produced nothing;
someone would do it eventually.

I doubt they intend to buy any right of ways. I think they intend to take the land with eminent domain and pay a fraction of current market values.

“I doubt they intend to buy any right of ways. I think they intend to take the land with eminent domain and pay a fraction of current market values.”

With the scale of Hussein’s ‘vision’ that will still be a big number - subtracted from some part of the budget - the military perhaps?

So, in order to save a buck, he puts several thousand highly trained and motivated aerospace workers out on the curb

He cancelled a big contract yesterday with Northrop Gruman in CA. Another huge loss of jobs. This guy is taking us down....
