LOL, I like the big phones!!!
Her song is "Play With Fire". Excellent choice. There seems to be some quiet moments in the song ... did she forget the words? But it's not very noticeable.
The trained seals next to the stage are swinging their arms in the air. Distracting.
Randy: I think for the first time for me in weeks, Didi, baby you were on fire!
Ellen: You lost your way and that could spin you out, but you got right back into it. You made the word "fire" two syllables which I thought was gray-ate.
Kara: There's something compelling about the sweetness of you voice and the darkness of the song.
Simon: I agree with what everyone said. I thought you were going to lose it 30 seconds in. That's what nerves do to you. It was a solid, not brilliant performance. I still think you can do better than that.
His song is "All Over Now." Plays electric guitar. Very good. He stands completely still during the peformance though.
Randy: You're back to the Casey that I love. Bluesy, kinda Stonesy rock. Loved it! You are back!
Ellen: (makes a veiled reference to her lesbianism--the audience cheers :-|) Fantastic.
Kara: I said last week that you were trying to be a rock star? Tonight you are a rock star. Blues and soul--that's what I've been missing from you. Your best peformance since we met.
Simon: I actually don't agree with that. You look great, you sang it great. But for me that was like an audition performance. You didn't use the stage. It has to be more than that. People are gonna really like you. But when you watch it back it has to be more than that.
