The tv spot for the census has a voiceover that says, “You need to fill this out so we KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.”. They want to have full dominion over every single one of us.
They are allegedly going to fine people if they goof on the census form but look at how they don’t know how to do anything. Just keep in mind how stupid big brother actually is. They wont have the manpower to enforce fines, etc. I’m going to be an other and I really RESENT that there’s a phone number inquiry. Why do they need that? They can have my area code but that’s it.
Re: last notes. It’s better to sustain a high note by backing off as the note ends. Otherwise, it’s just “weird”. Simon likes to say “weird”.
What happened to Mike after the Mike and Juliette show ended? Any idea?

I think Snookie from MTV Jersey wears a bump-it under her hair so it poofs on top. I could be wrong though. I only see them on Leno sometimes.
This year is so different. The judges are usually telling them they don’t have enough self confidence. Now they are using psychoanalysis instead of just watching and listening to the performances? I think they just don’t have a great field this time out. A singer must have uber-self confidence.
Hated Sioban Tuesday too. I only heard the very end of the show and that was not singing. It was yelling on key.
I agree w/your teen re: Aaron. You know Elvis didn’t have a super powerful voice but look what he could do w/his voice.
Adam’s traveling all over the planet. His CD’s really good. It’s my drive time music.
David Cook’s hair: no. MJJ’s former guitar player singing: turned to Fox News. The 3rd singer: no and I can’t remember why. I think her song sucked. I can’t believe the “new” talent between results is the best they can do. (MJJ’s friend can play the guitar but she can’t sing imo.)
Aaron is a sweetie. Folks up here in Northern PA are excited that he has gotten this far.
I think he has Simon on his side.
This year’s talent pool is drained like a swamp. Hopefully, the singing coaches will at some point, teach some of these contestants how to sound better. LOTS BETTER.
If Kara says one more time “You’ve got to connect with the song” ...well, I hope Ellen smacks her.

If Paige gets in the top 4, the voting’s been hijacked by vote for the worst web site. She’s been the worst since day 1.
It was not music. It was garbage when the already signed girls did their thing.
I’ll give her a pass because she’s been having vocal cord problems for two weeks. She was really good at the initial audition.
