What is with Kara and Simon? Their body language is way tight - as in married.

In his video, we hear how he was first rejected at the end of the Hollywood round, then received a call to comeback after the other singer (who goes unmentioned) dropped out.
His song is One Republic's inspidid "Too Late To Apologize". I hate the original. This one sounds even worse.
Simon: First of all, congratulations on coming back. But we absolutely made the right call the first time around. Your voice isn't good enough. You might make it through because people feel sorry for you. But you have to step it up.
Kara: The music overtook you. You were just buried under the beats. But you're likeable, you're cute and you're current. If you have another shot, you have to listen.
Randy: None of it worked. I personally think you're better than that.
Ellen: You couldn't hit those high notes. It didn't sound good. But you're adorable. You may get a lot of votes because of that.

Thanks — I thought this was the replacement for Big Mike but I guess not.
According to the comments on that site, Chris had a contract in place and was therefore ineligible to be on Idol.
