The show sucked lemons tonight but this thread has been a blast! Everyone is crazy and over-the-top, and I am laughing so much that tears are running down my cheeks.

Oh yeah! Do you remember when Garth Brooks hosted SNL and "Chris Gaines" was the musical guest? It's probably on YouTube somewhere.
It was one of the most pretentious and disturbing things I've ever seen. And it waw kind of gay too. His career hasn't been quite the same since.

I think a close friend of hers died and the song she auditioned with was for her, hence the tears.
And Seacrest--even on a good night he can be annoying. Tonight he was insufferable. He was trying to prod Didi to tears right up until the final moments. What more do they want from her?
